Our approach
to sustainability

Sustainability is one of our core values and an integral part of how we operate as a company. When evaluating new investments, the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) perspective is a fundamental part of the underwriting and acquisition process.

Europi has an ongoing partnership with the World Land Trust, supporting them in saving threatened habitats. We also support Hand in Hand Sweden, an organization fighting poverty through entrepreneurship, through their Bee for Honey and Money Programme in Kenya.

Europi is a signatory of the UN Global Compact Principles, who work for businesses worldwide to align strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. The narrative was launched in 2000 and is a principle-based framework with three main focuses: environment, social responsibility and governance.

Environment

We work continuously to improve the environmental impact of our assets through active asset management with local partners. Main initiatives on asset level include upgrading our assets to the top BREEAM, DGNB and LEED standards and installing solar panels on the roof of our logistics assets.

Social responsibility

We believe we have a responsibility to contribute to the creation of sustainable societies. Europi is particularly focused on supporting social engagements, the well-being of our employees and partners, diversity and gender equality and customer satisfaction.

Governance

It is of utmost importance that all of our business is conducted in accordance with the law and the highest business ethics. Europi and our local operating partners operates under strict zero tolerance when it comes to bribery and corruption.
